OFFERGeneral conditions of sale of LA MAISON D'HÔTES
These general conditions of sale are intended for use in booking stays at the Moulin de Salazar guest house , 570 Route de Salazar in Montbarla (82110).
They constitute the contract of reservation between the EURL STYLE, which exploits and manages the Mill of Salazar and the customer of a stay in room of hosts. The acceptance and the respect of these conditions of sale are acquired as of the reservation even if no installment were paid for this reservation.
The owner, Marie-Pierre CUSTODY, is committed to doing her utmost to give guests a warm welcome, ensure a pleasant stay and make it easier for them to get to know the region.
These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice.
Duration
The present contract, accepted by the client, is concluded for a period determined at the time of reservation. The client may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises without the agreement of the owner.
Rates
The prices indicated on this site are in Euros and include VAT per room per night, for the number of people and for the dates chosen. Breakfast is included in the price. The tourist tax will be indicated in addition when invoicing the balance. Rates and offers are subject to availability at the time of booking and may not be renewed for subsequent bookings. The conditions, rates and offers are not contractual and may be modified without prior notice.
Reservations
All bookings are subject to written confirmation to the client (email or post) or the client and the payment of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay, with a minimum of one night per room booked. Deposits are non-refundable, deductible from the total bill on the day of departure. Deposits must be paid within 7 days of the booking request and will be cashed on receipt. The reservation is registered and confirmed as soon as the deposit has been received. The payment of the deposit implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
Terms of payment
Payment by cash, credit card or bank transfer. Cheques are not accepted.
Bank transfer - (exclusively in euros) to the account of EURL STYLE (RIB provided on request). The transfer costs are to be borne exclusively by the client.
The balance of the stay is to be paid at the end of the stay as well as any additional services not mentioned in the present contract.
Changes and cancellation of reservations
Any modification and partial or total cancellation of a reservation by the client must be requested directly from our establishment, either by mail or by email hello@moulindesalazar.com.
This request for modification or cancellation will be effective only when the Mill of Salazar has confirmed its acceptance by mail or email.
- If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the arrival date, the amount paid at the time of booking will be refunded.
- If the cancellation is made less than 20 days before the arrival date, the 30% deposit is retained. If the client so wishes, he/she can be rebooked on another stay within six months of the reservation.
- If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the arrival date, the 30% deposit is retained and the balance of the reserved stay will be charged. If the client wishes, he/she can be rebooked on another stay within six months of the reservation.
- In case of no-show, or if the customer shortens his stay, the Moulin de Salazar reserves the right to charge and claim or deduct the full amount of the stay including the reservation of additional services ordered (table d'hôtes, Jacuzzi reservation, massages ...).
- If the Moulin de Salazar cancels the booking before the start of the stay, it must inform the client either by post or by email. The client will be reimbursed immediately for the amount already paid.
Responsibility
The client certifies that he/she is covered by a civil liability insurance covering his/her responsibility and that of his/her family.
The children of the guests are under the sole responsibility of their parents when on the Moulin de Salazar estate. The use of the swimming pool is at the client's own risk.
The client undertakes to return the guest rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare and assume financially any possible damage for which he/she may be responsible.
EURL STYLE accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, damage to personal belongings and/or damage or injury to property or persons on the property, however caused.
If you forget your belongings in your room at the end of your stay, they can be sent to you at your request and at your expense.
Arrival time
The customer must be present on the day of his reservation from 5pm to 8pm. Thank you to warn in advance in case of arrival after 8 pm so that we can welcome you.
Time of departure
On the day of departure, customers must vacate their rooms by 11:00 a.m. at the latest, except in the case of special offers.
Change of room
Without the client being able to claim any compensation, the Moulin de Salazar reserves the right to change the room initially booked by the client for a room of the same or greater capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.
Capacity
This contract is made for a specific number of guests. If the number of guests exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse the additional guests. This refusal cannot be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner. In case of departure of the client, no refund can be considered.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served only in the living room or on the terrace reserved for meals and entertainment from 8:30 to 10:00.
Animals
Pets are not allowed. In the event that the client does not respect this clause, the refusal to accept animals and their owners by the Moulin de Salazar cannot be considered as a modification or a breach of contract on the owner's initiative. Therefore, in the event of the client's departure, no refund can be considered.
Art of living and use of space
All guests are required to respect a certain art of living in order to guarantee the tranquillity of the place and the comfort of all. The customer undertakes to respect the rules of good manners set out in the rooms and in these general conditions of sale.
In addition, we ask you not to smoke in the rooms or at the windows, and not to light candles. All the rooms of the guest house (bedroom, living room, kitchen...) are strictly non-smoking.
For those who wish to smoke in the park, please respect nature and keep your cigarette butts, which must be disposed of after being neutralised, in the waste bin provided outside the mill hall.
The private areas are not left to the free disposal of customers. They are well defined by "private" signs which imply a total prohibition to enter.
It is forbidden to eat in the rooms unless agreed upon for special occasions when booking with the Moulin de Salazar, which reserves the right to refuse and will set up a dedicated area in the room.
THE "HOST'S MEAL" FORMULA
For guests who have chosen the "popote des hôtes" formula available outside of the "table d'hôtes" days, only the tables on the mezzanine of the mill room or on the terrace of the summer kitchen can be used and only between 12:00 and 13:30 and between 19:00 and 20:30 (outside of the "table d'hôtes" days). Neither the small living room of the mezzanine nor the coffee table can be used by our guests to eat, as this space is reserved for relaxation and reading. With this practical and original formula, the customers will have access to the equipment and the crockery of the kitchen of the room of the mill, being able to heat the dishes which they will have chosen for their meal.
We insist on a respect of good manners on the part of our guests who, according to the formula of the "guests' meal", will have to clean the table on which they ate, put away any accessory they may have needed to prepare their meal, clean the work surface or the oven if necessary, and put away the dishes which will have been placed at their disposal in the dishwasher. Our team will start the dishwasher at 1:30 pm.
Apart from this formula, the use of the kitchen and the mill room for the preparation and consumption of personal meals is strictly forbidden.
The MILL ROOM KITCHEN remains accessible to guests during the day with non-alcoholic drinks available in the fridge. The consumption of these drinks by our guests is based on the principle of trust: simply tick the drinks consumed on the form provided for this purpose next to the fridge, indicating the number if there are several, together with your name. The prices are displayed next to the fridge for each of the drinks offered and these drinks will be invoiced at the end of your stay at the same time as the rest of our services. Tap water is of course free of charge and pitchers of still and sparkling water are available in the fridge. Here again, we insist on a respect for good manners on the part of our guests, who will make sure to keep this place clean so that everyone can enjoy it to the full.
The pool area cannot be used for picnics. However, if our guests wish to picnic in the park or on the beach, we can arrange this with them and provide ground covers. Please contact us about this.
Any disrespectful attitude towards other guests and/or the facilities may result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation.
Only people staying at the Moulin de Salazar are allowed to use the communal areas and the swimming pool.
Please do not throw anything in the toilet (septic tank). Please do not use the towels for make-up removal or shoe cleaning. We reserve the right to charge the cost of replacing towels and/or linen stained by these products.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool is open from mid-May to the end of September, from 8.30am to 9pm. After 21:00, the pool is no longer accessible unless expressly agreed by the Moulin de Salazar
The swimming pool is reserved for family members of the owners and guests staying in the guesthouse.
EURL STYLE reminds customers that the pool is not supervised. All swimming in the pool must be done under the constant supervision of adults able to intervene quickly in case of danger.
Unaccompanied children are not allowed to enter the pool and its surroundings: children must be under the active and vigilant supervision and sole responsibility of their parents.
All users of the pool must be covered by civil liability insurance for defence and recourse.
EURL STYLE declines all responsibility in case of accident or drowning.
Promotional offers/Gift cards
The Moulin de Salazar may make promotional offers on its site, relating to accommodation services provided on a specific date or according to a specific periodicity, for which no cancellation is possible (article L121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code). Moulin de Salazar promotional offers are not cumulative. These offers and Gift Cards are non-refundable.
Information technology and freedom
In accordance with the law of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. EURL STYLE undertakes not to pass on the information communicated to other companies or organisations.
Litigation
This contract is governed by French law. All disputes to which this contract may give rise, concerning its validity, interpretation, performance, termination, consequences and consequences shall be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of common law.
